Our Guesthouse is located in the heart of Thulusdhoo, few steps away from beach. Thulusdhoo Island is famous for its own surf break, Cokes, attracting surf enthusiasts from around the world. Besides surfing, the island offers a diverse array of tours and excursions to suit all interests. Visitors can enjoy several local cafes serving a variety of Maldivian, Asian, and Western cuisines. The island also features ATM facilities, allowing travelers to withdraw Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), and USD is widely accepted throughout the island.

At Bibee Surf, we believe that every journey should be more than just a place to stay — it should be an experience that inspires connection, adventure, and lasting memories.

Our story began with a simple vision: to create a guesthouse in Thulusdhoo where travelers could discover the authentic side of the Maldives. From sunrise surf trips to island excursions and evenings spent sharing stories over fresh coffee, every detail at Bibee Surf is designed to make you feel both comfortable and connected.

🚤 Getting to Thulusdhoo

Thulusdhoo Island is located in the North Malé Atoll, just a 30-minute speedboat ride north of Velana International Airport (Malé).

Please note that the island is only accessible by boat transfer.

  • Shared Speedboat: USD 25 per person, per way

  • Private Hire Speedboat: USD 230 per way (direct transfer, arranged on request)

  • Children under 3: Free of charge (when seated on a parent’s lap)

🚢 Local Public Ferry

The Maldivian government also operates a local public ferry to Thulusdhoo:

  • Departure: Daily at 14:30 from Hulhumalé Ferry Terminal (except Fridays)

  • Cost: Less than USD 3 per person

⚠️ Important: The public ferry is not suitable for catching international flights due to its limited schedule and longer travel time.



Terms of stay

  • IMPORTANT: All travelers are required to submit the Traveler Declaration within 96 hours of the flight time, during arrival to the Maldives. When completing the form, kindly select "Bibee Maldives" as your accommodation in Thulusdhoo, which is our parent company. Our representative will meet you at the arrival terminal with a Bibee Maldives signboard. If not located, please proceed to Counter C11 for assistance with your speedboat transfer to Thulusdhoo. We aim to ensure a smooth and timely journey. We look forward to welcoming you to Bibee Surf and ensuring you have a memorable stay. You may find the Traveler Declaration from below link.

    IMPORTANT GOVERNMENT POLICIES

    * Tourists are required to provide their passport information for Tax Declaration to the property.

    * You are required to undergo Medical Survey & Safety Briefing at the Hotel before any excursion or snorkeling on the house reef.

    * Vape / E-Cigarettes are banned in the Maldives as of November 2024, therefore carrying, use and distribution is illegal and can be fined between USD 650 – USD 3,250.

    HOTEL POLICIES

    • Guests should dress appropriately on the island likewise wearing bikini/speedos and non-modest attire (revealing attire) in the township of the island or the streets of Thulusdhoo will not be permitted. Designated tourist beaches are available with    their designated borders.
    • Guests who are not registered at check-in will not be permitted to utilize the facilities of the hotel unless or otherwise permitted by the host.
    • Guests are required to inform Guest House prior to leaving the island for any day trips, excursions, snorkeling on the house reef to ensure safety and security of guests.
    • Guests are required to undergo verbal briefing of these policies at Check-in and should provide any personal requirements, adjustments for allergies/requirements for food & beverage or queries at check-in.

Booking cancellation

- If cancellation occurs 7 or more days prior to arrival, there will be no fee charged for cancellation.

- If cancellation occurs within 7 - 4 days prior to arrival, a fee of 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.

- If cancellation occurs within 3 days to arrival, a fee of 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.

Сancellation policy

  • Cancellations 72 hours before arrival date shall be exempted of cancellation charges whereas spontaneous natural events (bad weather, flight delays etc) will be taken into consideration.
